TROJAN SPIRIT

Outdoor sculpture located at Wissahickon High School, Ambler, PA. In this artwork, the four "helmet" forms represent the four alumni that this commission honors. They are positioned in a "huddle" format to reflect cooperation and working as a team. The long thin "blade" forms represent the spirit or energy within the community. When the wind blows hard enough the elements "twitch" in a manner that is reminiscent of the anxiety so prevalent during high school.
